This is how you can get onboard with the Port Deposit Chamber of Commerce in bringing this event back for its fifth season. We are launching a new vendor support program this year. There are many opportunities for both the larger and smaller corporations and individual sponsorship. The date for this American Power Boat Association inboard race in Port Deposit is Labor Day Weekend, August 30-31, 2008, at the town’s Marina Park. This sport and this particular circuit reach hundreds of thousands of spectators each season. Without your support, our event is not possible. As a sponsor, you will be featured in multifaceted advertising throughout the event and in the published material depending on your level of participation. This well-planned campaign promises to generate tremendous crowds and excitement for the entire two days. This event brings thousands to the shoreline and hundreds on the water. Ragin’ on the River continues to be the third and final leg in the three-way-race for the Maryland Cup. The other two sites are: Cambridge and Kent Island. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit NorthBay. NorthBay Environmental Education Center operates under the Erickson Foundation as a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charities. You can join us in influencing the lives of children across Maryland and nationwide right here at Elk Neck State Park. The VIP tent area will offer water and snacks in addition to seating and a great view of the race. Listed below is information on sponsorship levels and advertising specifications. Please fill out the sponsorship agreement and return it to the Port Deposit Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 186, Port Deposit, MD, 21904 by May 30th, 2008. We will again distribute 8,000 event programs throughout Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania one month prior to the event to maximize your sponsorship exposure.
